Walking into any large craft store or home decor mecha can feel exciting to some and daunting to most.. Where do I start? What look am I going for? What statement do I want to make? Well - I can definitely assist you in more detail, should you need it, but here are some things to consider when you want to know how to compliment your holiday decorating style this year..
Traditional Red & Green
Red and green are the most traditional colors of Christmas, but “traditional” doesn’t have to mean boring. This garland is the perfect example of how to create a fun and whimsical look while still using the popular red and green colors. You can add a nice contrast element by using different patterns and textures of mesh and ribbon, ornaments and even some fun floral picks to really make it pop! Gold is always a nice compliment to red and green. When it comes to your tree, don’t be afraid to add large ornaments throughout, as they only add to making the tree more bold and vibrant.

Elegant – Glamorous – Metallic:
There is nothing wrong with adding a little extra sparkle! Using a modern metallic palette with colors of gold, silver, copper and maybe even some black, white and graphite, can add a nice luxe, elegant and glamorous element to your décor.

Rustic – Country – Farmhouse:
Bring a little rustic-style design to your holiday décor by using texture, neutral hues and natural materials. Mixed pine, burlap, metal ribbon, pinecones, rusty jingle bells and wooden pieces are all great ways to add a little country, farmhouse style.
